October 2026 Builder Blog: rolling date range, local times

What shipped for Rose Rocket builders in October 2026: board date filters that run from days ago to days from now, and times in an address's own zone.

October 31, 2026

Yesterday’s missed pickups used to drop off a “next 7 days” board at midnight, because a board date filter could look back or ahead but never both. In October a filter on any board in board views can run from days ago to days from now and move with the calendar. A date-time field you add in Object Builder can also read in the time zone of the stop it belongs to. Platform basics shows where boards, objects and fields fit together.

Also shipping

  • A Date range filter on a date-and-time field now includes its whole last day. Before, records later in the day on the end date were left out.
    • How: nothing to turn on; it applies to every Date range filter you already have.
  • A role’s security filter in the board builder can be a Rolling range too, so a carrier’s view only ever shows the next 14 days.
    • How: in the board builder, set the role’s security filter on a date field to Rolling range.
  • System theme follows your device’s light or dark setting and switches as soon as the device does.
    • How: Settings > User Settings > Profile > Appearance > Theme > System.
  • The activity log can Exclude person, so you can hide System entries like tracking pings and scheduled jobs and see only what people did.
    • How: the record page > Activity > Filters, then Exclude person.
  • Board CSV export includes every row again. It no longer stops at 1,000.
    • How: Board actions > Export board to CSV.
  • Share manifest with partner fills the To field with the carrier’s Primary contact.
    • How: on the manifest, Share manifest with partner.
  • Invoice templates in Document Builder take a File name, such as the invoice number, used for invoice emails and downloads.
    • How: Document Builder > the invoice template > File name.
  • Admins get an in-app API Reference and Data Model with copyable keys for your org’s own objects and fields.
    • How: Settings > API; it needs the Developer Portal module.
  • New Truckstop load board, Greenscreens.ai rate prediction, Motive and EIA weekly fuel price connectors, a Refresh from FCA button on the Fuel board, and more Macropoint status updates.
    • How: ask your CSM; each connector is set up for your org.
  1. Rolling range: a board date filter that moves with the calendar

Set a date filter from 7 days ago to 7 days from now and save the view once. Tomorrow it still holds last week's late loads and the week ahead. How: Filters > Add filter > a date field > Any > Rolling range.

  2. Placeholder kit visual, not the Time zone from setting: a sample table of lanes, modes, rates and Active or Inactive statuses

Time zone from an address on custom date-time fields

A date-time field you built reads in the zone of an address on the same record, so 09:00 at a Vancouver stop is 09:00 Vancouver time. How: Object Builder > the object > the date-time field > Time zone from.
