Week of Nov 2, 2026: invite a driver by phone number with a system role, plus fixes to record view tabs, board rows and six connectors in Rose Rocket.
A driver with a phone and no company email used to need a driver widget to get a login, and that came with the classic driver role. This week Invite users in Settings › Users, Roles, Groups can send the invite to a phone number with a system role, and the person signs in on the Rose Rocket mobile app; what a role decides explains which one to pick. The table below also lists fixes in View Builder, board views and six connectors.
Invite users: send the invite to a phone number
What changed
Invite users now asks Invite by: Email or Phone number. Type the number and pick a system role. The person signs in on the Rose Rocket mobile app, no company email needed, and no driver widget to set up first.
Where teams use it
Drivers, mostly. They're on the road with a phone and no company email. Once they're in, they use the Rose Rocket mobile app to see the orders they're running, what's next on their schedule, and the payments they're owed.
Try it
- Open Settings › Users, Roles, Groups and stay on the Users tab
- Click Invite users and, under Invite by, choose Phone number
- Type the number, pick a system role, and send the invite
