Builder Blog, week of Sep 14: split an address into parts
Week of Sep 14, 2026: a Lookup or Formula field reads an address's City or State / Province, plus a Show toast action and CSV export on grouped views.
An address used to be one value, so a Lookup could only show the whole thing and a board had no column for an order’s origin state. This week a Lookup can return one part of an address, City, State / Province, Postal Code, Country Code, Label, Latitude or Longitude, on the record or through a connection, and a formula can join the parts, for example into “Buffalo, NY”; Object Builder is where you create the field and formula fields covers writing the formula. The table below also lists the Show toast action on Button trigger (Rocket Engine is rolling out by organization), CSV export on grouped board views, Object Builder saves that keep a board’s hand-built columns, two Document Builder fixes and changes to four connectors.
